To fill a gap in adoption resources by providing all members of the adoption triad with an understanding of the adoption process and provide a much-needed resource to help birth parents explain to their children why a new baby is being placed for adoption.
This touching adoption story follows the young kitten, Kelly, as Mama Cat helps her come to understand and accept her baby sister's adoption. The story is followed by the author's own experience in the search and reunification with her biological family.
"But, Mama She's My Sister!" is first and foremost a resource for birth parents to help them explain to children in the home why a new baby will be placed for adoption. Secondly, it is a resource to assist all members of the adoption triad through their own adoption journey.
